Presidents of Armenia and Russia to meet in Moscow

 Presidents of Armenia and Russia Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin will meet in Moscow on August 8. President Sargsyan will visit Russia on a working visit.

During the meeting, the leaders will discuss key issues related to bilateral cooperation in politics, humanitarian and economic fields, Kremlin official website said. Russia is the main foreign investor and one of Armenia’s major trade partners. The volume of Russian capital exceeded $2.8 billion in January-May 2012, while trade turnover made $ 434.8 million.  

The Presidents will also discuss Armenia-Russia cooperation within the framework of Eurasian integration processes, in particular within CIS and CSTO. They will touch upon regional and international problems as well as situation in the Caucasus.
